Paper Abstract:      This article aims to understand the parental network control attitudes impacts on children’s online behaviors and network security. We use the 2009 student survey of digital learning and digital opportunities database to select 1895 students from the 8th grade as the samples. In this study, we apply the statistical models in SPSS to analyze the data. The results reveal: 1. Student online behaviors and their perception of network security vary according to their different backgrounds; 2. The differences among children’ online behaviors and their network security were affected by their parental network control attitudes; 3. There is a positive correlation between the students online behaviors and their Internet using security.
